“Nrityakala Thapaswi”, “Natyakala Prapoorna”  Guru P. V. Bharani Shenkar is a National Guru in the field of Kuchipudi Classical Dance with the experience of 50 plus years. For his achievements in different areas of the field, as excellence in teaching methodology (with psychological counselling for different age groups), commandable knowledge in both theory and practicals, excellent choreographic works within the boundaries of the Natya Shastra, coaching the students to appear in Government and University Examinations, moulding the students into full-fledged performing artistes, etc, the state and Central Governments and also prestigious Sabhas recognised and Honoured him with many awards.     Was honoured as National Second Generation Guruby the Indian Govt.’s cultural organisation - the “Central Sangeeth Natak Akademi”, New Delhi in February, 1997.
 
 
     Was conferred with Nrityakala Thapaswititle on 12th of June, 1998 by Bharatamuni Arts Academy, Madanapalli, Chittor District, Andhra Pradesh, India.
 
 
     Entitled as Natyakala Prapoornaby Sri Tyagaraya Gana Sabha in association with Sri Vaishnavi Nrityakala Nikethan, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India on the 27th of December, 2003.

He was invited to be a part of many National Seminars organised by   many Universities  and Cultural organisations like the “National Seminar on Kuchipudi Dance: Concerns  and Future Projections” on the 4th, 5th, and 6th December, 1998 at Sri Tyagaraaya Gana  Sabha, Hyderabad, organised by Kuchipudi Kala Kendra, Mumbai., University of   Hyderabad and Telugu University, Hyd.

 
 

 He was also invited as a Judge for a number of competitions and talent search, organised by various national schools and colleges and national cultural organisations throughout India.
